Janet Grey is an LA native, photographer and the creative force behind @housesofhollywood, an Instagram feed focused on residential architecture in and around the greater LA area. Her diverse body of work, which includes travel photos from around the globe, an extensive series on LA’s Echo Park Lake and her Houses of Hollywood project, has as a common thread the intention of preserving and celebrating the beauty in the world around us – not only through photography but also storytelling —connecting people with their environments in meaningful and inspiring ways.

Honoring history, creativity, individuality, and the strength of the human spirit, Janet awakens and encourages a deeper appreciation of the exquisite nature of everyday life while revealing the extraordinary in the ordinary. With a background including everything from music marketing to hypnotherapy to interior design, and having founded an international private driver service called TravelDrivers, Janet loves learning new skills and perspectives, but find her true authentic joy behind the lens.
